A World Book Night offer from Practical Inspiration Publishing

World Book Night offerToday, 23 April 2017 - Shakespeare's birthday (and Roy Orbinson's, apparently), St George's Day, and this year the London Marathon day too - is also World Book Day. And more importantly, since I'm posting this rather late, World Book Night. All across the country people are pressing a copy of their favourite book into the hands of friends, family or random strangers and urging them to read it. So in the spirit of the day, a very special offer from Practical Inspiration Publishing: here are three of our recent titles, all of them potentially life-changing:

  • It's Not You, It's Your Hormones: The essential guide for women over 40 to fight fat, fatigue and hormone havoc by Nicki Williams
  • Founded After Forty: How to start a business when you haven't got time to waste by Glenda Shawley
  • Strip Naked and Redress with Happiness: How to survive and thrive through personal challenge by Maria Hocking

Leave a comment saying which you need and why, and the most compelling (in my opinion, because it's my blog!) will receive a free copy of their chosen book, posted to an address in the UK.

Books change lives. That's why being a publisher is the best job in the actual universe.

I've been intrigued by Founded After 40 and wonder if it's a great resource for my mama tribe for the Work life area of Project Me. I'd like to read it to find out! says

I'm intrigued by Founded After 40 and wonder if it's a great resource for my mama tribe for the Work life area of Project Me. I'd like to read it to find out! My second book is about how to prepare for the next chapter of your life when kids fly the coop. I'm sure a lot of mums would be inspired to learn how to start a new business after 40.

Founded after 40 ... though I need to add on a decade. Deep down I know I have it in me and don't feel 51, but every so often the gremlins set in and a voice tells me, you've missed the boat darling, you should be thinking about retirement not building a business! Help me fight the gremlins,....!

I'm intrigued by the how to start your own business when you haven't got time to waste, because as a fifty something year old woman as it seems to match the sense of urgency I have. The time is now!

If ever there was a girl who needed to know how to fight fat and fatigue after 40, it is me. Am now mid fourties, morbidly obese and prone to day-time napping. Please help me find the energy to get off the sofa use the next 40 years a bit more wisely! The hormone book should do it!

All three book titles sound enticing, but having met Glenda it has to be founded after 40 for me ...
